Dark cabinet and shelf against a light colored stone/tile. I prefer wood mantle to extend the width of the tile.

Shelf option as glass? Similar to what we want but not TV inset into stone since we won’t be able to change the tv if it ever dies.

Only comparing white cabinets to the stone and mantle. I don’t like the height of the cabinets or the positioning of the mantle, tv, or thing above the tv (might be a sound bar).

Matching white shelves above white cabinets. Shelf unit not built into wall? I think I like the “openness” of not having the shelves framed into the wall. Not sure how that would fit with our adjacent cat walk.

I like this dark wood mantle and how it goes all the way across the top of the tile. I like the color of the tile and how it only frames the fireplace. If the TV does not have tile or stone behind it then it would be easier to change out/mount when the tv dies? Needs shelves and short cabinets on the sides though.

Grey cabinet/shelf option against full length stone. I think I like the built in type of shelves or does that give the feeling of being closed in?
