Kitchen
The seating area at the end has guests face each other. If you put a foot rest of some sort, that could be comfortable and the cocktail bar could be at the same end of the kitchen for better conversations. If the cooktop was at the other end (with the sink?) then guests could talk access the bar, talk to us whether we're cooking or just hanging out and making drinks. I also like that there is no storage where the seating is, so I don't have to disturb people sitting there.
Dual fuel stove/range. Electric stove is better. Gas on the range, if Steve wants.
Under a butcher block could be a good place to store cast iron & staub.
Pull down shelves, so you don't need a ladder.
I wonder if the entry (where the laundry is now) to the kitchen could be/feel more like a pantry and have functional countertops/hidden small appliances.
Or is this a better idea for the laundry?
Nice colors
Like the idea of a workstation sink. Seems like a better option that lots and lots of countertop.
Love those bar stools, especially with the dark (?slate) counter top.
I like the graining pattern on the side of the island. Don't really like anything else in the room, except maybe the light fixture.

Like that the door also has storage. I think this could be a great place for us to keep spices when we create the pantry. That way we can get to them w/o walking inside and can use where they are now for storing more cans and what not.
