We like the pendant lights over island. Our idea is to do something very intersting for pendants - to have them be lit-up wine bottle magnums, so need to find an artisan to help make these for us, shouldn't be too complicated!

This is just a sample of an oven in the island - we have one in our island with our current Ikea plans and then one on the other side under the cooktop

I like the coloring and open airy feel. Feels classic but still a bit modern. I don't like the handles and think the cabinets themselves are a little too much like track housing to be interesting.

I love the color scheme and the simple clean lines of this kitchen. I like having some open cabinetry because it makes it feel light. This kitchen is not as "modern" as the Ikea kitchen we have selected but I like the open airy feel of this just as well (just wasn't something comparable with Ikea that didn't look cheapish).
