This is my basic idea for a built in hot tub. Of course it would be modified to our site, and probably square because I don't have the concrete form skills to do something fancy... but who knows!

I think something like this overhead shelter would be perfect for our outdoor entertaining area. It would be nice to be able to be outside even if it was raining or to still have an outside party and. It have to worry of it rains.

Here is another idea instead of a hot tub... we could just have an outdoor bathtub. However, it wouldn't be good for more than two people and probable pretty bad for the winter trying to heat up all that concrete with the hot water... but maybe I could install an on demand propane hot water heater and circulate it through the tub.....
