bright and airy light fixtures, interesting floor
wood + white look could be very cool. Just as long as the entire room is not filled with TOO much wood (ceiling, floors, counter, etc., etc., etc.)

Don't dig these chairs/stools, but do love the idea of pops of bright color.
love the idea of a built in bookshelf for cookbooks. Will need some kind of cookbook storage!
