I’ve been looking recycled glass for our utility but it’s really expensive. Shame as would like to use a recycled material. We used quartz in the kitchen which is brilliant (Caesarstone) as it doesn’t chip and is heat and stain resistant.

Dd dd - we had glass in our kitchen a few years ago. Looked beautiful but scratched really easily. When we moved, i had quartz worktops which were combined with chunks of recycled glass: Compaq Venecia (spanish, but easily available in UK). Really beautiful and got many compliments. Hard wearing too, but like all quartz you have to be careful about heat and acids like lemon juice and tomato. I had a stainless steel trolley near the range cooker so that I could put hit pans and tins onto that not the worktop.
