Which are the Most-Saved Bathrooms from Houzz Singapore?
Small and cosy or enormous and luxurious, these popular bathroom designs all share an element of nature
The Best of Houzz Awards 2017 are coming up, but before that happens, we wanted to see what bathroom designs from Singapore are being saved in their ideabooks not only by Houzz Singapore users, but Houzzers worldwide. Here’s what we found:

Vanity flair
A frameless mirror that spans the wall-to-wall length of the vanity creates the illusion of a more spacious bathroom. The backsplash design complements the basin, adding a glamorous flair to this powder room.

Light and breezy
Houzzers noted this bathroom’s vanity-and-washbasin design as well as the glass shower doors as the reason they saved it on their ideabooks. The wood-look cabinet fronts were also a favourite. Even the potted plant received commendation.

Tactile style
This bathroom’s slate slab and white pebble flooring is what caught the eye of many a Houzzer. The tactile finish is the draw, although Houzz user makenamommy makes a good point: “Like the idea of stone between [flooring] as long as it is sealed in place…” as loose pebbles would be a nightmare to clean.

Naturally contemporary
The combination of marble and wood (wood-look tile, that is) is why many Houzzers like this design. It’s sleek, and at the same time, cosy and fresh-looking with its ‘natural’ finishes.

Spa in the city
With its own access to a pocket garden, this well-equipped bathroom is a contemporary oasis. The plants outside keep the shades of grey and white from looking cold and stark. Houzz user mark694 says: “I like the two tones, separating the two spaces”.

Indoor-outdoor feel
This luxurious bathroom is a favourite for its airiness and little planting strip lining the window:
“Plantings just inside window – bring outdoors in”, says wellesleymom.
“Love the openness and colour”, says tdivin1.

Small and smart
This teensy bathroom also has an odd shape, but its designer has pulled in as much natural light as possible and provided artificial light to make it feel more spacious than it is. Practical details like the toilet roll holder were also thoughtfully provided.
Houzz user manjpea says: “Clever use of small bathroom”.

Asia inspires
There’s a lot going for this bathroom apart from its ample footprint. Houzz users have commended its colour scheme, luxurious fittings and most of all, the oriental detailing of the mirrors.
