19th Century French Louis XVI Style Chaise Lounge
Fabulous original painted finish with aqua blue and creamy chippy paint. Beautiful carved ribbon and roses at the top of the crest, with eight Classic Louis XVI style carved fluted legs. Originally this may have been a two-piece set, but came to us as one piece. We kept it as one piece and upholstered it with our 100% organic Belgian linen. We added a beautiful pleated bottom apron, and new foam seat cushion covered with a linen slip cover. The slip cover is finished with a 1/4" flange, and hand pleated ruffle corners. Frame is solid and sturdy ready for daily use. Measures: 27" W x 36.5" H x 67" D Seat height 20" Seat depth 61".
