Bathroom Remodel Using Repurposed Wood Flooring as Ceiling

We remodeled the upstairs bathroom to include removing the wood flooring to repurpose as the ceiling. The vintage clawfoot tub was refinished, plumbing hidden in the wall, tile installed on walls and floor, new vanity, mirror and light installed. What is interesting about the ceiling was there was not enough salvageable flooring to use on the ceiling, so I used new pine, mixed and matched stains and polyurethanes and distressed the new wood with chain to blend in to the old. Utilizing prefinished material from Bridgewood, I designed and constructed a custom dresser and open cubbies. The dresser is in Knotty Alder, Stone stain, and is approximately 90” long and 55” high.
