Owners asked Interiors by Design to remodel the guest bath in their 30 y.o. home. They are empty nesters however their grandchildren and the rest of the family gathers many times a week in their home. We wanted to do something fun for the grands. Thus we removed wallpaper and lightly textured walls and ceiling. We faux finished walls and ceiling in a leather motif. Installed granite countertop, cut down huge mirror and made a wood frame that was stained to match cabinets then I rubbed gold and copper highlights into the grain. The light fixture pays homage to deer season here in West Texas! Cleaned up existing tub then installed tumbled marble subway tiles with glass tile as accents scattered around the tub surround.
