Bay Colony Remodel

The master bedroom on the first floor is the relaxing oasis of the home. With the teal mist and ivory colors of the printed duvet combined with the textural taupe carpet and faux raining effect of the headboard wall in bronze and silver, the bedroom has made contemporary pieces feel soft and serene. Ivory linen draperies a glass twisted lamps give this room a feminine touch. The custom triptych above the bed incorporates all of the colors of the room with silver leaf accents that coordinate with the silver bed frame and catch the light to create an enchanting shimmer. The upholstered nightstands create a slight contrast off of the rich custom headboard wall in an ivory fabric with bright chrome nail heads. The large dresser in a sleek rich walnut finish compliments the dark wood that frames the main wall and grounds the room while the large round glass chandelier floats weightlessly in the middle to make the light dance Photo Credit: Doug Thompson
