The internal & external areas become one. The central water feature becomes part of both indoor or outdoor use via the glass sliding doors. Office, study & design studio work spaces created. Landscape hedging has created a concealed external utility & vegetable garden areas, & a central rear garden/lawn area. Building arrangements and landscaping have ensured absolute privacy to & from this site. North facing glazing allows the internal living areas to be light filled. The fixed awnings to these windows allows direct Solar access to the internal areas during winter and Solar protection during summer. Cross ventilation provided. Existing & new walls, floors, ceilings & roof have been insulated. A Contemporary upgrade of the original structure & roof form.
