Dozens of West German pottery rubs shoulders with yet more vintage prints; this time in the form of a Louis Shabner 'Melanie' and contrasting with wooden oak floors. These were discovered underneath some hideous laminated flooring when we moved in. The stone fireplace was also found when we took up the laminate, to find a large stone hearth underneath. We moved a radiator to make the fireplace a feature. It's since been overshadowed somewhat by the masses of bits and bobs that have accumulated in there!
