Bedroom Restyle
The client wanted a bedroom refresh. A calm space to relax and a sanctuary away from a busy life.
I had to work with the carpet and the headboard which were elements that were staying.
I designed a scheme where the wall behind the bed and door on the same wall were painted a deep dark matt black which set off the natural materials, such as plants, woven cushions and baskets, that I brought in to create a sense of wellbeing.
I created a sense of calm by keeping the colours to a minimum.
I sourced finishing touches for this room once we painted the walls and the fitted wardrobe.
The items sourced were, window treatments, dressing table, ladder for extra storage, chest of drawers, lighting, prints, throw, bed linen, rug and accessories and plants.
