Michael Nash Design, Build & HomesA recently moved couple decided to renovate their new home starting with their master bathroom. This couple were very intrigued with bold colors and extraordinary fixtures.
It started with choosing a bold steel free standing tub colored with black on the outside and white lon the inside. This color scheme carried over into the mosaic tiles into the shower running down vertically to accentuate a black marble top and gold mirror trim, opposite the shower area.
Prior walls were taken down and a new angled wall was made to house new round custom-made double vanity cabinets.
A new commode room was built behind new shower space along with double shower panel and rain shower over river rock stone floors, and porcelain floor with heated floor underneath.
A tray ceiling in the middle of bathroom trimmed with gold crown and painted in black accent helps set apart bathroom project.
Milestone BuildersThis image shows a large, black and gold closet with a chandelier hanging from the ceiling. The closet is rectangular in shape and has several shelves filled with clothes. There is also an ottoman in the corner of the room that matches the color scheme of the closet. Black And Gold Wardrobe Designs & Ideas
Emmanuel Design Group, LLCIt's always nice to have a walk-in closet.....Our client wanted a vanity with Hollywood lighting, meaning a row of bulbs on either side of the mirror. To achieve this we hand carved a beautiful, scrolling leaf pattern set in front of amber stain glass all the way around the large mirror. This created beautiful, soft lighting. We repeated the same carved leaf pattern on the drawers and the sides of the base cabinet. Our client has little girls so we made the vanity bench long enough so they could sit with mom. We dressed the bench in black velvet with rows of clear crystal and black faux fur. The chartreuse skirt compliments the beaded peacocks and roses on the back. For the dressing bench, we chose to do a round ottoman in black velvet also, but gave it a pop of color in hot pink and again used clear crystal for the accents. This led way to the bright colors in the reading nook pillows and the dramatic drapes. The reading table was made with an inlaid top with plenty of room for books, drinks, etc. One of my favorite features is the staircase; we carved the scripture Proverbs 31:10-12 (a virtuous wife) in the risers going up, and then finished it by hand painting the lettering in gold leaf to match with the gold in the staircase iron and walls. It's the perfect place to find inner as well as outward beauty.
