A wood stand, as I always made might look better, but after all the problems of breaking, expanding and contracting wood that can't disassemble has lead me to know use metal, so I know when I sell that it is maintenance free, does not wobble and can be taken down when needed. This unique design with its strong modern lines, is also subtle, so the eye is taken by the chair and the stand compliments it.
