This living room and deck addition to an existing residence reflects the interest in Japanese art and culture of its owners, whose Ren Brown Collection gallery nearby specializes in contemporary Japanese prints. The addition appears like a semi-detached building from the exterior, both similar to - and dissimilar - from the original.The interior of the addition, oriented to the Bay, provides greater height and openness than the original building.
