The stairs leading down to the walkout basement have the same natural hickory wood flooring as the rest of the main level. The stair railing is contrast to the hardwood with a dark sarsaparilla stain and decorative metal balusters. The large newel posts have embellished caps. Lastly long wall sconces with Spanish colonial style metal details.
