Caughey residence
Here is the baby's room which the owners wanted to be pink. We purchased a white crib and dresser which contrasted well with the pink checked dustruffle and pink sheet and an oatmeal glider which didn't show too much dirt. We also purchased pink checked curtains that matched the dustruffle and put them on a lovely white curtain rod, painted the baby's room a lovely soft pink to blend with the curtains and bedding, and purchased a pink and white trellis rug to match it all. Then we added 3 antique wicker pieces; a table, a chair and a display cabinet, spray painted them white to look fresh and placed a white lamp with a pink shade atop the table, a matching pink and white checked pillow on the chair and placed several adorable stuffed animals and books as well as a sterling silver rattle, a Mrs.Tiggewinkle plate from 1982 and a Peter rabbit plate, cup and bowl which were the Mom's as a baby in the display cabinet. The result is a room fit for a princess - which this little baby girl surely is to her family.
