Contemporary Family Kitchen
Working closely with the builders and client of this newly built property, designer Richard Parsons helped create a large, contemporary kitchen perfect for entertaining family and friends.
The solid walnut breakfast bar is the heart of the kitchen providing a great focal point and an opportunity to chat and relax while food is being prepared. The Bora professional hob combines simplicity, functionality and optimum performance in a single, electronically controlled system. It’s as ‘clever’ as it is good looking - the user interface allows the cooktops and the cooktop extractor to communicate with one another ensuring a perfect extraction system. As part of the design and build, specialist ducting for the hob extraction system was placed in the floor before it was screeded and the tiles were laid.
The large, state of the art Sub Zero built-in stainless steel fridges and freezers provide plenty of storage capacity for entertaining, and work exceptionally well with the scale of the kitchen.
The solid walnut breakfast bar and walnut cabinets housing the appliances contrast beautifully with the white worktops, marble floor and the pastel shade of the cabinets. The turquoise glass splashback, behind the sink adds a delightful splash of colour which cleverly draws the eye to the impressive breakfast bar.
For entertaining family and friends in style this large, contemporary family kitchen is hard to beat.
