Farnaz hopes that the mudroom becomes a beautiful transitional space with the subtle delicacy of springtime transitions. Farnaz saw this as a challenge: turning a mudroom, the home's utilitarian entry, into a space that transcends its purpose. While it is not the main entry of the house, it is the most often experienced entry for the occupants of the home and will be indelibly marked on the memories of daily life.
