Downie Residence
We wanted to provide a barn door look in a more modern setting. The intent is that when the doors are open, they essentially "close" the open alcove. Additionally as the front door is adjacent to the closet. You can open the closet door without interrupting the use of the entrance door. Doors are Pacific Coast Maple with a natural finish. Tile inlay is flush with wood floor. Marimekko fabric. Wood base and trim are red oak with a natural finish.
