Eva Sonaike Lifestye
For the EKO ECLIPSE collection Eva Sonaike drew her inspiration from the great reverence in the West-
African metropolis of Lagos, formerly known as Eko, for the symbiotic relationship between the earth,
the moon and the traditional Gods of the universe, who bring rain, wind and thunder to the planet.
EKO ECLIPSE features a rich colour palette of subtle blues, warm terracotta and grey and bright yellow,
signifying both the heavens and the earth. The collection is tied together with an ongoing ‘adire'
pattern, which honours the traditional Yoruba batik technique.
