Extended Cottage, Forest Row
This is the second kitchen we’ve done for this lovely customer, which is always so special. This time around, they wanted an in-frame shaker kitchen and wanted it to feel light and spacious. In addition, they had an existing fridge freezer they wanted incorporated.
This kitchen was part of a big building project moving the old kitchen completely to create an open and light-filled family kitchen diner.
We designed a beautiful painted shaker in-frame kitchen in a two-tone colour scheme; Hague Blue by Farrow & Ball and Porcelain. Contrasting the island with the main run of furniture in a deep tone always makes the island more of a statement, and with so much natural light in this kitchen, this rich blue looks fabulous.
The kitchen appliances include a Quooker tap in chrome, Falmec Sintesi downdraft extractor and induction hob, Miele ovens with a warming drawer and beautiful quartz worktops in Konigstone’s Bianca Toscana. Using white quartz in this kitchen provides a great contrast to the blue of the island and really accentuates the light and airiness of the whole space. Crofts & Assinder handles in chrome complete the look.
