Georgian Style Alteration & Addition
An original 1960’s brick home, situated on a generous corner allotment, was purchased for its development potential. With initial intent to demolish & build, the client’s sentimental connection to the home was far too strong to bear the thought. Mavtect Designs were engaged to prepare Additions & Alterations that complemented the structural bones of the house whilst enhancing functionality & contemporary style. Introducing a Georgian style façade to the existing building form required significant modification to ensure symmetry & proportionality, whilst maximising the sizeable frontage.
