The jury was impressed by the knowing, yet unassuming update of traditional house-form
and plan; one sees dogtrots, added shotguns, traditional siting and other references.
Yet, here, entry is transverse and opens up longitudinally. The architect deftly blends the
traditional and the contemporary.....
