Highlands courtyard space
Here we removed all the lawn, creating a great entertainment space with reused flagstone in a mortared patio. A firpit and pergola define the spaces and planting beds help to soften the edges and walls. These photos were taken immediately after installation so the plants are still smaller! The pergola creates a nice outdoor room while also softening the garage wall. An espalier euonymus on the garage wall will green it up more over time. Newly designed deck creates a more graceful entry to the patio space and path to the garage.
