His Vanity and Shower

This beautiful and very unique master suite was actually once a large roof deck with a skylight that helped light the sunroom below. In the far right of the photo you notice the walk-in shower has a glass panel that's lit up. That panel is actually one of two sand blasted Euro glass panels that was used to create a shaft. That glass shaft allows sunlight from a skylight on the new roof to help light up the shower as well as the sunroom below. So no, that is not a light behind the glass it's actually the sun! We also used antiques that were discarded from a local mansion in the area to help bring an authentic look and feel to this new master suite. You'll notice the man's vanity has two antique concrete angels on either side that help holding up the granite vanity top. The modesty panel below the vanity is a reclaimed wrought iron piece that was once the suspended headpiece of a pergola entry to a local stately mansion.
