Historic Charles Dickey House

2009 ASID Hawaii Overall Grand Award 2009 ASID Hawaii Residential Award of Excellence 2009 ASID Hawaii Members Choice Award Historic Charles Dickey House in Honolulu – completed in June 2008 Photography by Hal Lum This historic circa 1930’s home served as personal residence of Charles Dickey, premier architect of the territorial period in Hawaii. The objective for this 4th design project with the client was to retain all historic architectural features, adapt the home to the client’s comfortable and elegant lifestyle and design a display area in the Living Room for the client’s personal Hawaiian artifact collection.
