Historic Victorian Gets Some Love
This home is one of the original “beach cottages” that made Larchmont an oceanside retreat for wealthy New Yorkers in the late 19th century.
Mature gardens need guidance so they stay in proportion to the homes they were meant to compliment. We removed, pruned or transplanted overgrown shrubs that had taken over some areas. Added interest to the entrance with a boxwood parterre, designed new perennial and cutting gardens by the tennis court and pool. We maintain, along with the landscape company, the integrity of the plantings.
