Stainless steel and honed Dolomite counter materials paired with stainless appliances are softened by a translucent aqua glass tile mosaic and light maple cabinetry. The hand scraped natural hickory floor is set horizontally to elongate the room and mimic the horizontal lines of the island cabinetry and hardware. The vivid sofa used for reading and the chalkboard painted wall add an eclectic touch to the streamlined design.
