A 16' x 18" addition was built to give needed cooking space for family gatheringin this new cook's kitchen. Red birch, Candlelight cabinets in a Shaker style and Nettuno Bordeau granite countertops gave much needed storage space and plenty of work space for this growing family. A wonderful island work station and stainless steel appliances including 2 dishwashers, allow several cooks to work together with plenty of space for people to gather around them. Wall to wall Marvin windows feature stunning views of Lake Champlain. A wall was removed to allow the space to flow from kitchen into the family room. Existing wide pine flooring with forged nails was matched to unify the spaces. 2 skylights allow natural light directly over the island work station. A full light door extends the entertaining space onto a deck that was moved during construction and restored upon completion of the addition.
