Media Cabinet Remodel
The outer built-ins were already existing. The center space was completely open, and further recessed, under the chase where the black speaker is. I built and installed the media cabinet with the panel above it which looks just like the back wall, but is actually a 3/4" MDF panel that is about a foot out from the wall. The large flat screen tv will be mounted on that panel, which is reinforced in the center to accept a heavy duty extendable bracket. Glass in doors is frosted.
