Mia Kaplan at Mosquito Supper Club in New Orleans, LA

Duck wallpaper and landscape painting by Mia Kaplan Studio. The Mosquito Supper Club is a space run by chef Melissa Martin. I created this duck wallpaper specifically for the Club's bathroom. For Melissa, decoys and duck hunting are a way of life. I used the intimate space of this bathroom to recreate the feeling of a hunting camp in her French Quarter space. The wallpaper is available to purchase by the linear foot, and the painting is an original painting of Big Branch Marsh NWR in Lacombe, LA. I enjoy creating site-specific artworks that further the meaning of a space's purpose.
