Modern Bungalow

Shigley Photo Shigley Photo W+D opened the first 14 feet of living room to second story to let in light and preserve the historic exterior of this bungalow. Bearing walls were removed and replaced with a two sided bookcase that housed the ductwork for the forced air system. This all contributed to a more open and airy floor plan--a hard thing to come by in an old bungalow.
