Oak kitchen

Oak Kitchen This kitchen is made from solid Oak timer throughout. The client specified using finger joints as a traditional design feature which can be seen on each drawer front. To enable a contemporary design to this kitchen the carcase division panels are set back and are not visible, this was important to visually make a seamless border which encapsulates all the drawers which appear to be floating. The gaps between the drawers are access for finger pulls leaving a clean drawer face with no handles required. The grain has been selected to be continuous from one end of the kitchen to the other. Some of these drawers are actually doors and some of drawers are double depth for large items to be stored. There is an integrated dishwasher, the drawers under the cookers pull out with the plinth on weight baring castors for larger heavy items to be stored. All the drawers are fully extendable on soft close. The overall look was to be minimalist, clean and easy maintenance.
