Paragon (19)
One of a series of loft fitouts within a 19th Century Schoolboard school in London SE1.
We were given a noisy, north facing tall space to work with. We decided to consider the insertion of two additional levels and, most importantly, the creation of a full width south facing rooflight slotted between the original rafters. In our view, this move transformed the space creating shadow, warmth and a dominant view of the sky.
