What was once an afterthough of an addition now takes center stage as the ultimate hang-out area. The ceilings in here are low, no doubt about it. We chose to see the low ceilings as an opportunity to lean in to the quirk of the home, by adding horizontal beadboard & trim to accentuate the width of the room and draw your eye up at the same time. We used a semi-gloss finish for a gorgeous contrast from the walls and a hint of shine to reflect all that natural light. A simple white light fixture creates a gorgeous evening glow, and the bamboo chairs bring the outside in.
