Riccardo’s Battersea mews building had two terraces at either end of the 1st floor living space. We designed these Massaranduba decks to sit at the top edge of the sliding door frames with the boards running co-linear to the internal floorboards. We supplied and installed all the planting to Riccardo’s specification. The deck is mounted on “Wallbarn” feet designed to protect the lead tanking and facilitate correct drainage. Massaranduba is an Indonesian hardwood know locally as “Iron wood”, we protected the exterior with “Sikkens”.
