Single floor rear extension - Shooters Hill
The client on this project was initially looking to renovate their kitchen and during the consultation process, we also discovered that their was a need to create additional space for their grandchildren and extended family as the home served as the family ‘hub’.
Based on the clients requirements we opted for a 5M extension which was submitted and approved by the council without any issues or challenges from the adjoining neighbour, as we maintain good communication throughout the whole process.
The build process also had to accommodate for redevelopment of the garage as alterations had to be applied to existing structure to accommodate for the length of the newly built extension, whilst we had the ‘bonnet open’ we used this opportunity to refresh the look of the garage.
The client had a keen eye for design so through close collaboration we were able to produce a visual but practical space for the family, we look forward to working with this client again.
