Solana Circle Roof Deck
An incredible amount of complexity was packed into this relatively small project. The design program was simple: add a usable deck space to the roof that will allow the homeowner to enjoy 360 degree panorama views, including whitewater views of the Pacific and the Del Mar Fairgrounds. Significant complications: a strict 16’ height limit and the desire to keep the existing roof and interior finishes. JLC Architecture provided documentation for permit, construction and HOA approval.
