Summer Chic

Making a statement in your kitchen renovation doesn’t have to mean ‘flashy’. In this contemporary kitchen makeover, the designers have taken a minimalistic approach to accentuate the modern feel of the adjoining living space. The designers were tasked with creating a space that exemplified ‘form and function’, within the existing kitchen footprint They made the most of the limited floor space by working with clean lines and boxed effects. This concept offered more storage options and additional bench space. The resulting design is a ‘gully-style’ or a hybrid of the traditional galley style and the popular ‘U-shaped’ kitchen. High gloss, white cabinetry and Bone White Essastone benchtops create a fresh, uncluttered space. Handle-less drawers and doors add to minimalist design and the diamond format splashback tiles add a textural element to the room. Clever design also incorporates the latest technology, with ingenious Blum electronic opening systems and clever storage ideas to optimise form and function. The bright white finishes are the perfect backdrop for the bold yellows and greys used in the adjoining living space, creating a warm, summery vibe.
