The "Nall Hills" Project
I was inspired by a photo I saw on Houzz of just a frameless shower and knew that something like that would work well for this particular bathroom. A lot of the homes in this neighborhood were built in the 50's and had much smaller Master baths than what we're accustom to today, so had to get a little creative and maximize the space as much as possible. Eliminating the swinging door for a barn slider made such a huge difference in this cozy space. Drawing the eyes "up" instead of "horizontal" was also the goal of mine and that is why we took tile from floor to ceiling in addition to the vertical beadboard. Ultimately, just wanted to create a transitional styled space in the master bath mixing modern/farmhouse style.
