Updated Kitchen With Concrete Counters
By removing a structural wall between the kitchen and family room we were able to create a spacious 3-sided island that functions as a sitting and conversation area bringing these spaces together; a functional countertop from the kitchen side and an additional sitting/eating/homework area with barstools from the eat-in-kitchen. Removing the structural wall opens the kitchen to the family room. Pediment over the cased opening makes an impressive statement framing the kitchen.
