Eden DesignThe "talking tree" is always a big hit when we host playgroups in this room. This custom tree was made for us by a company in Asia that manufacturers animatronic dinosaurs for theme parks. Its rubber/silicone body is quite flexible and allows his moving arms, eyes, eyebrows and mouth to give that extra amount of realism. The tree is pre-programmed with a 10 minute voice script of popular children's nursery rhymes. I wrote the script, then had a voice over done by a voice over artist on Fiverr.com, before sending it off to the factory to get the mouth, eye and arm movements programmed with the dialog.
