Whole House Update
A harmonious fusion of Contemporary Country and Industrial Chic places this home securely on the cutting edge. The clients, both artists, approached the designer with a concept of a space that combined industrial elements with the time honored comforts of a simple family home. From there, a close knit, highly collaborative relationship between client and designer evolved focused on meeting the client’s aesthetic, functional and lifestyle objectives.
The clients requested a complete reworking of the home’s street facing façade, a guest suite addition at the back of the home, a remodeled kitchen, powder bath, laundry and “man cave” workshop. The main challenge was to utilize existing space as much as possible to achieve these goals while allowing for out of the ordinary (sometimes costly) finishes within the overall budget.
