I always like to think in terms of the whole project, and what could make it even better. You may never be renovating this particular room again, so it's important that you get exactly the result you hoped for. You're my first Australian client, and it took a little bit of research on both our parts to figure out how to make this happen, but your wire transfer to my Canadian bank arrived quickly with no problems. Thanks for your review Kelley. Yours was the quickest project of its kind that I've ever done! Considering that it took less than two months from initial consultation through to final installation, and that the job included custom lighting and made-to-measure draperies and everything else was special ordered for you, it made for rather a whirlwind transformation! I'm very glad you are happy with the results. I should clarify that my flat rate fee was never added to, but the 'budget creep' you refer to was based on me showing you beautiful things for your consideration. I know it's hard to say no to things when you can see how great they will be in your place. That's why I often will show my clients wonderful additions to their space which can be on a "wish list" for later. One client of mine in Brooklyn New York arranged for his mother to buy him a lamp for his birthday! It was on his wish list because he'd reached his maximum budget at the time.

Thank you Paul. I appreciate your words, and I feel fortunate that your company has been able to make my ideas come to life. I love colour and how much it can change a space from cold and impersonal to warm and welcoming. I've always had a good instinct for colour but I've also benefitted greatly from Maria Killam's True Colour Expert course which explains the science of undertones. I love C2 Paint, especially the new Barry Dixon colours which I specified on the project you are referring to. I'll definitely be calling you for any upcoming painting this year.
