Eugene, Vantage Design, is very creative and is able to design with a heart. Despite the many challenges posed by me and my wife on certain requirement, he was patient in listening and able to adapt well to our desire and preference. We are now thoroughly enjoying the fruits of his labour in our beautifully renovated house, a home which we dearly loved. Thank God!

5 stars for Eugene (Vantage Design)! As an ID, we were fortunate to find someone who understood our preferences but was also able to insert fresh ideas without being too pushy about it. We love our home and it is almost perfect! As a Project Manager, he is also as good as they get! Having previously worked as a PM, we knew the stresses and craziness that would be involved as the work started. And there was more than our fair share of curveballs thrown in. Eugene kept calm the whole way and worked hard to minimise delays. Thumbs up to Vantage Design! If you need a great ID and PM, choose him.

Eugene was very patient and professional in his dealings with myself. I was impressed by the high quality furnishings that he recommended and also by his thorough project management. We have no regrets at all in engaging Eugene of Vantage Design in the renovation of our new home . He was very attentive to our requests and was able to deliver what we desired, much to our delight. He made our 800sq.ft apartment look so much bigger and brighter than what we could imagine. We look forward to waking up every morning to enjoy our new home with a new lifestyle. Vantage Design was selected from the Houzz website. Eugene was quick in understanding my requirements and preference. He never fails to come up with nice designs, thoughtful suggestions and effective solutions. No request was too big or small for Eugene. He designs, manages the renovation and selects furnishings with passion. Highly professional and a joy to work with, making the entire process a stress-free one. I am very happy with his level of service and the high standards he sets. A role model for the ID industry, he has my strongest endorsement.

The engagement was for the renovations of a new unit to provide design ideas as well as lighting , curtains and carpentry work. Eugene was attentive and able to work fast under tight timeline. He was able to provide elegant and effective solutions to meet requirements. Overall done in good time on Budget with good workmanship !

Eugene was just outstanding all the way through our 4-month renovation. He was particularly skilled in the design phase, where we did extensive moving of walls & changing of room configuration. His design really allowed us to maximise our space in ways we would not have thought of. Eugene was also always there & ready to assist in working through the various changes in design, color, etc through the process and could be counted on to make good on all items, big or small. Eugene Ooi was selected by us from a number of designers because he had a very pleasant and warm demenour. He came with a wealth of experience and professional knowledge. He did not talk down to us but instead listened to our needs and carefully guided us through the renovations. He was conscious of the budget we had set and recommended the best of materials within that framework. We were particularly impressed by the time he spent with us shopping for the materials we needed and always pointing out the pros and cons of our choices. We learnt a lot from this experience. We were very happy with the end result because it fulfilled all our needs. It is difficult to work with designers who use your home as a showcase for the latest popular designs. He gave us this option , showing us that he was up to date with current trends. Yet he worked with us to provide what we wanted. We also like the interest he showed some months after the work was completed. He came to review the home and to see if we were happy with the changes and if there was any tweaking to be done.

My husband and I are very happy with the level of service provided by Eugene, who demonstrated a high standard of professionalism in an industry fraught with unreliable contractors and shoddy workmanship. We’ve been amazed at how responsive he has been and appreciated his guidance and practical ideas in space planning and quality finishes for 2 major renovation projects, a 2,000 sf apartment in Newton and an over 5,000 sf penthouse in Holland area. The level of detail and transparency throughout this process is highly commendable. Through Eugene’s excellent project management skills, both homes were completed to our total satisfaction. Eugene was great to work with as he took time to understand what we wanted and he was really helpful and fulfill all request. He was also great with the follow up. Basically, he made renovating our place stress free. We will definitely recommend him to anyone that we know.
