“We had an excellent experience with Tom Wilcox. We hired him to draw up plans for a Master Bedroom and Bath for our 1940's Cape Cod style home. Tom was extremely creative with our space and kept with the feel and style of our home. He was always professional, friendly, listened to our ideas and understood our needs. He was "spot on" when we were concerned that we could even afford such a project. He had a great working relationship with our contractor and the construction was seamless. “A most talented designer! On a napkin was able to sketch and a portico and garage addition to turn our property into a lovely estate. Did a couple of projects for us at our current home and the best compliment, is that you couldn't tell it was an addition. Beautiful lines, and finishes adding unique features, such as an observatory dome.”

“Ryan Duebber designed a powder room remodel including custom wood mirror frame, cabinet and shelf; copper sink, toilet, faucet, stone wall and stone/wood floor. He listened carefully to my requests. He created with thoughtful consideration to make the new design meld with the rest of the house, be a beautiful gem, and be completely functional. In his design he was able to solve all the potential problems I had thought of. He has terrific color sense and knowledge of materials and construction, was timely and within budget. He also was great help in resolving with the contractor a few issues that came up with the installation. Ryan was creative, professional, friendly, upbeat, thoughtful. The room now looks beautiful, beyond what I could imagine from the plans. My all around good experience was well worth his fee. Total project (design, materials, install) cost about $12,000.”

Quite simply, the opportunity to work closely with John and his team was the most memorable facet of our project. While his strongest attributes include the precision of his work and his attention to detail, we also discovered that he enjoyed the architect-client interplay, and what resulted was a very organic process. He remained intimately involved with the aesthetics of the project until the end, which we appreciated, because he has a very strong perspective and an exceedingly high level of taste. Ultimately, his design was able to seamlessly meld together 19th century late Victorianism (our house) with a contemporary addition that met all our needs.
