The design process was an iterative one with many revisions resulting in a modern, loft-like weekend getaway that we use almost every week. “Lynne created plans for a major remodel of our 60s colonial. We asked for a more open, modern space and she delivered. We were so happy with the remodel that we decided to add another bedroom and hired her again. She also helped finish our plans for a modern NJ vacation home. We would highly recommend her!”

“Michael Lewis is a consummate designer with years of experience, talent, and organizational ability. We felt supported by Michael and his able firm throughout our project. There was a culture of sensitivity to our needs throughout the firm and skillful handling of issues as they inevitably cropped up. The firm worked with our century old house to bring it into the modern age, by retrofitting an amazing kitchen into limited space and converting an unusable attic space into a dream master bedroom suite with dormers, increasing our living space significantly. We highly recommend this firm!”

“We had a complete renovation done of our bedroom wing with 3 bedrooms, 1.5 bathrooms and a hallway under Heike's guidance. This was the 2nd project we have done with her, and we are once more thrilled with the result! What we like about Heike is that, she is a nice person to work with, she listens well, does extra research, has a lot of knowledge of materials and where to get them, and last but not least the fact that she comes from Europe and understands our modern European taste well. She introduced a number of nice touches in the overall design and paid attention to the overall energy efficiency of the renovation. She also worked with our contractor and the building department of our town. We can full-heartedly recommend her.”

“I hired ROAM Design to design an addition of a family room to my home. In doing so, I wanted to maximize the current space I had, add the room and update my kitchen to make the space family friendly, open and comfortable. In planning the addition, Amy met frequently with my husband and I to get an understanding of what we wanted. She offered suggestions and options, always mindful of our budget and preferences. Her drawings were detailed and thorough, which enabled us to visualize the addition and helped our contractor price the work for us. Amy was always available and responsive to our questions and needs. Her fee was fair and she was upfront and honest regarding all costs. My husband and I were extremely pleased with all aspects of the work ROAM Design did for us and would highly recommend them. Amy went beyond her responsibility as our architecture in communicating with our contractor and providing suggestions to us. She is very detail-oriented and the details she incorporated into our addition are what makes it so special.In addition to adding value to our home, we love our addition and the opportunities it has afforded my family as a place to comfortably relax, spend time together and entertain.”

“I have worked with Peter Coffin of Doyle Coffin Architecture on a number of occasions both as a client (for my own homes) and as a design partner (for our mutual clients). The quality and beauty of Peter's work is undisputable but what I appreciate the most is the quality of the design process - anticipation and understanding of clients' needs, timeliness of delivery and communication skills.
